Ambitious Patent Attorneys required

Withers & Rogers - London

Withers & Rogers is one of Europe’s largest dedicated intellectual property law firms, with offices in Bristol, Leamington, London, Munich and Sheffield. Established more than 130 years ago, they remain as passionate as ever about making intellectual property work to their clients’ best advantage. Today, their clients include many renowned, innovative organisations from across Europe, North America and Asia.

Due to their continual growth and success there are now two opportunities for Part-Qualified or Qualified Attorneys to join the firm in either their London or Bristol offices. Due to the international nature of their client portfolio, the firm is particularly interested in attracting more attorneys from mainland Europe.

Withers & Rogers has a well-deserved reputation for supporting candidates through the UK and European patent attorney qualification process along with extensive personal development opportunities, delivering commercially focused attorneys who offer sound strategic business advice to their clients.

Mechanical Engineering - London
Withers & Rogers has one of the strongest specialist engineering patent attorney teams in Europe. Working in modern designed offices in the heart of London, it is a place where your engineering knowledge will be put to good use as you will work for an enviable roster of world leading engineering clients. The Advanced Engineering Group serves major multinational businesses in automotive, aerospace, packaging and petrochemical sectors with direct client relationships in the UK, Europe and overseas. Their successful growth is due to a focus on developing client teams with specialist engineering expertise and an emphasis on providing clear, practical, commercial advice.
This role will support a Senior Associate, advising a broad range of direct clients in the areas of road, rail and marine engineering, medical devices, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, electro-mechanical devices and computer implemented control systems. A strong background in mechanical engineering is therefore essential. French language skills would be advantageous.

Electronics, Computing, Physics - Bristol
The Electronics Group is one of the largest in Europe with an unparalleled depth of expertise and patent knowledge. They work across a range of industries where their clients’ needs are specific to their markets, thus requiring high quality practical advice across the full life cycle of IP matters.
They are now seeking an ambitious patent attorney with academic and professional experience in physics, electronics, software, telecoms or related subjects, to join their team in Bristol. Because the breadth of clients is extensive, the role could suit either a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney through to a Senior Associate with multiple years of post-qualification experience.
