Acapo has offices in Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim and Fredrikstad. Today, the company has 42 employees, including Lawyers and Patent Attorneys. Acapo is owned by the partners, who all work in the company.

 

Acapo is looking for a talented and highly motivated Patent Attorney or Senior Patent Agent at our office in Oslo.  

 

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

The position will involve drafting of patent applications, prosecution of patent applications, Freedom-to-operate analysis and full client responsibility with support from your colleagues. You will have responsibility of addressing all IP needs of the business including working closely with inventor to evaluate, draft, file and prosecute patent application. You will work closely with clients to ensure the best overall protection of their IP assets. The position will involve a diverse range of work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical background M.Sc., PhD. or similar within physics, bio, electrical and/or mechanical engineering

  • Qualified EPA

  • Experience from the Patent Industry 5+ years

  • Very good knowledge of both spoken and written English. Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is no prerequisite, but preferable.
